except it wasn't actually the guys screen name. i was showing up as abolishedsalmon to him. AND the first line i was sent was sent to him with my answer, as one.

seems to be happening to others, if you do a google search...and it's not an ichat thing.
at least we figured it out. and at least we didnt end up fighting, because i'm working at UP right now. that could have created a mess. "so i'm getting threatening ims" heh. so glad he ended up being cool and being cool about it. AND i'm glad i had my phone with me so i could take a picture of the screen. good enough proof.
